Alexander became the U.S. middleweight champion at just 27
The world of bodybuilding was again immersed in a tragic news story after Daniel Alexander's coach informed the public, through his social networks, of the death of the young athlete, who was considered one of the promises of the sport American.
Messages of condolences flooded social media and most of them showed a common point: the surprise of the death, as he was only 30 years old and there was no indication that he was going to end this so quickly.
Alexander became the U.S. middleweight champion at the age of 27 by staying first at the USA Middleweight in 2017.
It is with a sad, heavy and distressed heart that I report the death of my brother Daniel. This is heartbreaking and shocking beyond comprehension, there's a big hole in my heart. Please ask for thoughts of prayer for Daniel's family, close friends and loved ones. You will be missed and loved forever. Fly free Daniel and rest in peace," his coach and great friend Daniel Kalick wrote on his Instagram account alongside a photo showing both.
Although the causes of death have not yet been determined, a fanatic who also expressed his sadness through social media slipped the possibility that he suffered a heart problem: "I had a genetic heart problem that was never mentioned or addressed."
