Santo Domingo, RD.- The Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD), held its convention on Sunday to choose the representatives of the different municipal offices for the elections next February.
Hundreds of young people underwent the scrutiny of their party partners, to opt for a nomination for councilor, municipal director and / or vowels.
Highlighting the orderly and enthusiastic participation, Miguel Vargas Maldonado president of the PRD, pondered the policy of open doors set in motion, where in recent times an avalanche of young people has been integrated into the ranks of that party, “who have had all the opportunities for them to participate in political life and channel their aspirations for the PRD ”.
He stressed that they require capable people, and managers with innovative and creative models "and it is precisely that new blood that the PRD is determined to empower to assume the municipal leadership from next year."
